The Berberis thunbergii 'Atropurpurea Nana', also known as the Japanese barberry displays soft pale yellow flowers with red foliage. This hardy plant has a gentle fragrance and is easy to maintain.

The deciduous plant will flourish in a well lit or partially shaded garden space and will reach 60cm x 60cm. We do recommend that you feed this plant annually in spring with a suitable fertilizer as this is the main blooming period.

Our British grown Japanese barberry does have a slow rate of growth making it easier to control as it becomes part of your long term garden desires.
