Digitalis Pam's Split has tall spires of perfectly arranged and interlocked flowers, they are a time honoured favourite of bees, hoverflies and other beneficials. The ice cream cone shaped blooms are creamy-white with a splotch of deep burgundy on the inside.

This is a classic foxglove for all tasteful herbaceous borders but works equally well in woodland edge setting, they prefer a dappled shade rather than full sun. They grow to a height of 120-140cm, each plant will usually produce 4 or 5 flower spikes.

Plant out this hardy biennial from mid January to late June in its final growing position in a prepared site free of weeds, firstly raking over the surface to prepare a fine seed bed. Sow thinly and cover with 6mm of sieved soil, thin out to 40 cm apart when large enough to handle.

Average packet contents 190 seeds
