Delightful and intriguing, the Lavandula angustifolia Hidcote has beautifully unusual, short deep purple compact flowers, rising from a bed of aromatic silvery-grey leaves. An ideal flower for borders and containers.

Thriving steadily in full sun and well-drained positions, this slow growing hardy evergreen is a wonderful addition to your garden design. Nurturing your English lavender by feeding in spring, keeping moist for the first year and simply removing faded flower heads, will ensure that you can enjoy the continuing beauty of this plant.

In March, you can cut your Hidcote back hard to ensure a brilliant bloom later in spring.
