Nymphaea 'James Brydon' has many desirable characteristics, amongst them it has a compact growth habit producing dark round pads and spectacular, unique, cup-shape, vibrant rose-red flowers made up of layers of rounded petals that float perfectly on the waters surface. It truly is one of the finest water lilies ever created! and has stood the test of time since being hybridized in 1900 having been named Aquatic Plant Selection for 2006 by the International Water Gardening Society. For yet more plant interest the new leaves are purple/maroon changing to green providing a stunning backdrop for the exquisite flowers.

Aquatic basket should be positioned on base of pool. Divide clumps in late spring or summer . Cover the soil with a thin layer of gravel which will protect the plant from fish and water movement. Suggested planting depth 30cm- 75cm.

Available as a 3L plant.
