An evergreen climber, Passiflora caerulea produces striking flowers from midsummer to autumn. Purples, blues white and yellow all combine to create an exotic effect.

After long, sunny summers the plant produces apricot sized orange fruits, though it’s not recommended that these are eaten.

Thriving in a sheltered corner in a courtyard or patio, this easy to maintain climber requires no regular pruning required. However if necessary, prune immediately after flowering in mid- to late spring when the danger of frost has passed. The plant is likely to reach a height and spread 2-10m (6-30ft.
