Even the most dyed in the wool, gnarly old gardener is constantly amazed at how a tiny speck of dust like a seed, dwarfed in a packet, develops into the magnificence of a fully grown plant. Never lose sight of the fact that the only thing that seeds want to do is grow. All we need to do is offer up a few temptations in the form of water, heat and maybe light and they will oblige.
